Cole Haan x Air Franklin Saddle Lace Up’s

If it wasn’t visible through the recent postings to D&D, I’ve currently fallen in love with the visionary that is Cole Haan, even having dubbed the brand my Summer Love. It is my honest opinion that he makes the most perfect wingtips and oxfords and that every fashionisto (and fashionista) should own a pair of his fancy footwork.

While browsing the inter-web, I recently stumbled upon these Cole Haan Air Franklin Saddle Lace Up Shoes available at Macys for a bargain price of 98$. I am in love, deep over-the-moon-and-back-down-to-earth love with these shoes. They’re available in a Bourbon Brown with accents of Ocean blue. The front has a cap-toe with a brogue trim adding even more detail to the shoe.

Personally, I think the shoe would have been wonderful with just the shade of brown, but the addition of the blue area & laces makes the shoe that much more special. My favorite aspect of these shoes, is the baby-blue sole. It’s all about the accents, and accents never hurt. There is actually an inverse version of the shoes where the Bourbon Brown is the accent and the Ocean Blue covers the majority of the shoe, this version is equally as wonderful.
